The Jordan 11 Concords were released in November, 1995, and retailed for $125. They are dubbed the Concords, after the official colorway. They feature a white upper with black patent leather around the base, which was the first time patent leather had been used on a basketball shoe. They also feature a clear outsole, which is adored by many, but made many Jordan fanatics disappointed at the fact that they turn yellow after a while. Other specs of the shoe include a carbon fiber spring plate, ballistic nylon uppers, a Huarache inner sleeve, quick lace system, carbon fiber sheath and air sole.
The Jordan 11 Cool Grey were released on March 3, 2001, and retailed for $125.They are dubbed the "Cool Greys" after the official colorway, and feature a grey upper, which includes a beautiful grey patent leather which lies around the base of the Retro Jordans. The white midsole contrasts from the upper's colorway, drawing attention to the shoe, and sits on a clear outsole which features a herringbone traction pattern which provides great grip on the hardwood. The shoe's specs include a carbon fiber spring plate, ballistic nylon uppers, a rubber outsole with herringbone traction pattern, quick lace system, carbon fiber sheath and air sole. The only problematic feature that people would tend to agrre upon is the lack of midsole and arch support.
